The Upsides are an indie rock band based in New York City consisting of brothers Matt (guitar and vocals) and Dan Fullam (drums) alongside longtime friends Hart Mechlin (lead guitar), Pat Freeman (keys, guitar) and Matt DaSilva (bass). The band is entering a bold new era with In the Maze, their second album and first on Dream Wolf Records.

The band returns with their second album In The Maze. Following their 2024 self-titled debut, In The Maze marks a new phase for the New York band. Bigger, heavier, and more ambitious, the record expands on the melodic guitar sound of their first album while pushing into darker, louder territory.
The band's first release on Dream Wolf Records, In The Maze moves between the immediacy of ‘Very Bad Kids’ and ‘Say Follow,’ the restless nostalgia of ‘New Jersey in the 90s,’ and the widescreen emotion of ‘Pretending It Fades.’ It's a record built on contrast: melody and distortion, nostalgia and uncertainty, moments that feel immediate alongside songs that gradually reveal themselves.
